Our Story
WLR Rehab was founded in 2019 by a group of behavioral health professionals who recognized a critical gap in addiction treatment services across the San Fernando Valley. They envisioned a center that would combine clinical excellence with genuine human connection — a place where patients could heal in a structured, supportive environment.
What began as a modest residential program has grown into a comprehensive treatment center serving individuals and families throughout Los Angeles County. Over seven years and more than 5,000 patients later, our campus on San Fernando Road stands as a cornerstone of recovery in our community.

Our mission is to provide accessible, evidence-based addiction treatment that addresses the whole person — body, mind, and spirit. We are committed to delivering compassionate clinical care that empowers individuals to overcome substance use disorders and build meaningful, lasting recovery.
Treatment Philosophy
At our facility, we believe addiction is a treatable medical condition — not a moral failing. Our clinical team employs a dual-diagnosis approach, recognizing that substance use disorders frequently co-occur with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD. By treating the root causes alongside the addiction itself, we help patients achieve recovery that endures well beyond their time on our campus.

Dr. Raymond Castillo, MD
Medical Director
Board-certified in addiction medicine with 14 years of clinical experience, Dr. Castillo oversees all medical protocols at our center, including detox supervision and medication-assisted treatment programs.
Angela Whitmore, LCSW
Clinical Director
A licensed clinical social worker specializing in trauma-informed care, Angela leads our therapeutic programming and ensures every patient's treatment plan reflects their unique clinical needs.
Kenneth Orozco, MBA
Executive Director
With a background in healthcare administration, Kenneth manages facility operations and strategic growth, ensuring WLR Rehab maintains the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
